VBAS Membership

The Virginia Beach Audubon Society is a local chapter of the National Audubon Society. The easiest way to join the local Audubon Chapter is to become a member of National Audubon.  You can go to this link to join both.  -membership link- .  

Your National membership includes:

  • a subscription to Audubon magazine
  • access to local birding and community events
  • breaking news on birds, their habitats, and advocacy efforts
  • adding your voice in the fight to protect birds
  • membership in your local chapter

Your Virginia Beach Audubon Membership includes:

  • the monthly newsletter from September through May
  • local monthly meetings on the 2nd Monday - Sep, Nov, Jan, Mar & May
  • local & regional field trips
  • special events
  • working with other enviromental organizations
